LUNAR MISSION: Single-Origin Espresso [Medium]

12.49

For our single-origin espressos expect high quality microlot coffees that are first and foremost sweet and balanced, but also carry complexity and liveliness. Roasted specifically for a smooth and fully developed shot of espresso. Almond Butter, chocolate, and red berry notes.

Guatemala Huehuetenango La Libertad SHB

Info : This is an SHB grade coffee from La Libertad, Huehuetenango, known for its high altitudes, rainfall, lush shade and moderate temperatures. This coffee is a blend of El Rincon, Terrazas, La Bolsa and neighboring farms in the valley. Grown at 1400-1900 masl, this coffee consists of Bourbon, San Ramon, Caturra, and Mundo Novo varietals.

Bag Size: 12 oz

Processing: Washed

Roast: Medium

Roasters Note: For these coffees we really want to work with the coffee as it roasts, so we try to start with something balanced so that it shines at a fully developed roast. In this case, we selected this lot from a handful of Guatemalans for its clean, sweet profile and red berry flavor. After working with it in the sample roaster a few times we finally felt it just had to be our next single origin espresso.
